Timber Supply

Globally, Eucalyptus are the , covering some 20M hectares in plantations in some 86 countries. They are in abundance all around the sub-tropical world. Lignor has independently tested many Eucalyptus species, and been accredited with a range of excellent results from fourteen independent research institutes around the world.

Lignor has and will only use Eucalyptus timber from legal, sustainable and certified sources through either the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) schemes. Lignor will not source or use any ‘old growth’ trees.

Within Australia, there are numerous Eucalyptus resources available. Western Australian MP Tony Redman shows the support that Lignor has received from the Western Australian Government in the downloadable PDF.
